Recurrent episodes of binge eating.
Recurrent compensatory behavior in order to prevent weight gain such as self-induced vomiting, misuse of medications (e.g., laxatives and diuretics), fasting or excessive exercise.
The binge eating episodes and inappropriate compensatory behaviors both occur on average of at least once a week for 3 months.
Self evaluation is highly influence by weight and body shape.
