  1. Hallucinations (sensory perception without external stimuli. It involves seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting, and smelling things that are not actually there).

  2. Emotional withdrawal

  3. Lack of touch with reality

  4. Delusions (false beliefs and perceptions. Examples include believing that people are plotting against you and that the radio or television is sending hidden signals)

  5. Disorganized speech

  6. Trouble with thinking

  7. Lack of motivation

  8. Social isolation

  9. Aggression

  10. Agitation

  11. Reduced emotional responsiveness (characterized by a lack of facial expressions, a reduced emotional response than expected in a situation, vocal intonation, and a lack of gestures that typically accompany emotions)

  12. Neglect of personal hygiene

  13. Compulsive behavior, etc.
