Tourette's Disorder

  1. Motor and vocal tics. A tic is a sudden, rapid, recurrent, non-rhythmic motor movement or vocalization, such as repeatedly blinking the eyes, blurting out offensive words, or shrugging the shoulders.

  2. Onset is before the age of 18

  3. The disturbance is not attributable to the physiological effects of a substance or another medical condition.
